Handwork Utility Worker
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a reliable and experienced Handwork Utility Worker in the Tallassee, AL area for a rapidly growing Manufacturer of corrugated boxes .
T he utility worker position is an entry level position to learn the processes of manufacturing and the different machines used in the process to make corrugated boxes.
This individual is responsible for assembling different boxes, partitions and corrugated pallets.
Pay Rate
$1 3.00 per hr.
1 st shift)
Schedule and Hours
1 st shift ( 7 : 00am- 4 : 00pm)
Monday Friday
Handwork Utility Worker Responsibilities
- Assemble partitions
- Use cold adhesive during assembly of different items such as corrugated pallets
- Use manual strapper to strap units for shipment
- Use staple gun to stitch boxes and partitions
- Assist in performing a variety of tasks throughout the plant
- Ability to become certified on the chop saw to cut cores.
Handwork Utility Worker Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in general labor, construction, or other related fields.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Must be willing to maintain a strict adherence to all plant safety rules
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
- High school diploma
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. (Lifting Assessment to be given in office)
- Drug screen and background check required.
